This tutorial explains how a buyer and an artist can set up payment using deviantART's Commission Widget. Through this process, the artist receives CASH through PayPal. The artist DOES NOT receive any points. There is a two week delay between when the buyer sends payment and when the artist receives the funds through PayPal.

I thought I should leave this here for others.
But you can no longer withdraw through paypal on a no core membership account.
You now have to buy core to transfer your funs out of deviantart.
It's no longer worth it to use the commission widget unless you are buying from a core account.
So before you set up a commission widget and plan to sell coms with points, please reconsider and use other cash apps and such.
